After I Do A Novel

I really like how easily Taylor Jenkins Reid describes scenes, dialogues and characters with not many words and still I got a very clear and extensive picture of them. This is a love story the other way around, which I really enjoyed. This book doesn't end with the start of the relationship, it starts with the end of it (kind of). It was so much fun to see how Lauren is changing and growing in this experience she's making and how she explores what it needs for her to live a full life. I really got pulled into this book, so I read it at high speed, as I really could not put it down. I was actually a little bit disappointed at the end. That seemed a bit too flat for me, too easy but the rest was so much fun to read! So i definitely recommend it.

Taylor mastered to tell the beauty in a life without pretending, a love without depending, listening without defending, and speaking without offending. Beautiful und easy read with a story to eat up in one sitting (and I really am a reader who needs her breaks in between sittings to digest the stories I read) Nevertheless I believe this is a book one rereads every two years in reading-abyss (hence the four stars).
