I highly recommend this series of book. It’s amazing! If you are a fan of fantasy stories this is something you cannot miss. I loved this book from the first moment I started reading it and in 3 weeks I’m already at book 3!

Zugegeben, man muss Throne of Glass eine Chance geben - die Vorgeschichten und Bände 1 & 2 zeichnen noch eine deutlich kleinere Welt, die sich erst ab Band 3 weiterentwickelt und dann ihr volles Potenzial entfaltet. Mich hat das Setting von Anfang an in den Bann gezogen und obwohl das ganze Thema um zu bestehende Prüfungen (Band 1) kein Neues ist, ist die Handlung gut umgesetzt. Es ist ein solider Auftakt und meiner Meinung nach werden die Bücher im Laufe der Zeit immer besser. Die Charaktere sind authentisch gezeichnet und haben/machen Fehler, sie sind schlicht menschlich und wachsen einem immer mehr ans Herz. Man erlebt mit ihnen die komplette Bandbreite an Emotionen und manche Wendungen lassen einen schlicht sprachlos zurück.
Angenehm ist, dass das Spice Level erst gegen Ende steigt und es anfangs keine expliziten Szenen gibt. Trotzdem ist die Reihe voller Leidenschaft, sodass man gespannt mitfiebert. Die Beziehungen zwischen den Charakteren sind komplex und nicht immer einfach, aber das macht es ... ehrlich.
Throne Of Glass war für mich der Schlüssel zurück in die Bücherwelt. Nachdem ich jahrelang nicht wirklich zum Lesen gekommen bin, habe ich die Reihe so zu lieben gelernt, dass ich meine eigene Leidenschaft für Bücher wiedergefunden habe. Muss ich mehr sagen? ;)
