Probably one of the best books I read this year. Gave me a better insight into the chaos after hurricane Katrina than anything I have read before. A mystic atmosphere, and a heartbreaking story. Funnily enough, the main character seems less multi-layered than those around her. As soon as I finished this one, I bought two more from this author.
