Kemp Hastings and his investigative colleague Doctor Darlene Gammay are pursued by the Grand Lodge of Cairo (GLOC) who are hellbent on murdering Darlene now that she has been given a glimpse into the afterlife having been gifted with the power of the ancient Egyptian ritual known as the 'Assignation'. Has the Apostle's Apostle ' Mary Magdalene' really targeted Doctor Gammay by leaving a tattoed image spread across her back and shoulders, or is this an infliction delivered by an inexplicable series of circumstances that Kemp Hastings struggles to rationalise.
