Friedrich Hayek The Ideas and Influence of the Libertarian Economist

A very good summary of the work and influence of Nobel Prize winner Friedrich von Hayek. It not only provides a very good introduction to von Hayek's work ‘The Road to Serfdom’, but also to von Hayek's work as a whole, and provides (in context) references to other works by von Hayek. This introduction, by Eamonn Butler, also shows the liberal (socio-political) approach of Hayek (and the ‘Austrian School’), the idea of a free society - also - in contrast to the totalitarian socialist ideology, which after the fall of the so-called Eastern Bloc increasingly comes along in the ‘green cloak’ of saving the climate, and threatens freedom.
