Eric Littlejohn lives at home with his widowed mother in a modest terraced house. Both proved troublesome but it was his cousin Jane who eventually assisted him in his quest for the lovely Gloria. Amidst accusations of terrorism and hostage taking in a local store, the two lovers were eventually thrown together once more. Over the next few months Eric's life changed dramatically and their love developed into an ultimate climax. 'Eric and the red shoes' follows the development of a close and amusing relationship between the luckless Eric and the beautiful Gloria.
