The book is divided into several sections, each of which covers a different topic related to Quakerism. The topics discussed in the book include the importance of simplicity and humility, the role of women in the Quaker community, and the need for social justice and equality. Hicks' sermons are known for their emphasis on the inner light and the importance of personal spiritual experience.
