""A Little Maid of Massachusetts Colony"" is a historical fiction novel written by Alice Turner Curtis in 1914. The story is set in the 17th century in Massachusetts Colony and follows the life of a young girl named Priscilla Mullins. Priscilla is an orphan who is taken in by the Puritan community and raised by a strict and religious family. Despite the challenges she faces, Priscilla is determined to make a life for herself and find happiness in her new home. Along the way, she meets new friends, learns about the customs and traditions of the colony, and experiences the excitement and danger of life in early America. Through her adventures, Priscilla learns valuable lessons about courage, perseverance, and the importance of family and community.
