The Concluding Essay and Preface to the Second Edition of Mr. Maurice's Theological Essay is a book written by John Frederick Denison Maurice, and it was first published in 1854. The book is a combination of two essays, the concluding essay, and the preface to the second edition of Maurice's Theological Essay. The concluding essay focuses on the concept of the Kingdom of God and how it relates to the Church. Maurice argues that the Kingdom of God is not limited to the Church but extends to all of humanity. He also discusses the role of the Church in promoting the Kingdom of God and how it can work towards achieving this goal. The preface to the second edition of Maurice's Theological Essay discusses the changes that have been made to the book since its first publication. Maurice explains the reasons for these changes and how they reflect his evolving views on theology.Overall, The Concluding Essay and Preface to the Second Edition of Mr. Maurice's Theological Essay is a thought-provoking book that explores important theological concepts and provides insights into the author's views on these topics. It is a must-read for anyone interested in theology and the role of the Church in promoting the Kingdom of God.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
