"One of the finest cultural artefacts made in the twentieth century." Russell T. Davies
"All sorts of important writers have marvelled at the glorious simplicity of [Schulz's] draftsmanship and his unerring jokecraft, all underpinned by a quiet melancholy and stoicism . . . Unlike almost everything you read as a child, they are actually better than you remember them." -Spectator
"Beautifully designed . . . One of the high-water marks of post-war popular culture." -Daily Telegraph
"As powerful a comic art-piece as anything out today . . . will delight Peanuts aficionados." -Observer
"In a few spare lines, Schulz suggested ennui, loneliness, bewilderment and resignation. But his minimalism is deceptive in its simplicity: Those carefully chosen lines have to be perfect or they don't work at all. The understated clarity of Peanuts influenced virtually every comic strip that's appeared in recent decades." -LA Times Book Review
