""A Life Of Joseph Hall: Bishop Of Exeter And Norwich"" is a biographical book written by George Lewis in 1886. Through extensive research and analysis of historical documents, Lewis provides an in-depth look into Hall's upbringing, education, and religious career. The book explores Hall's role in the Church of England during a time of great political and religious upheaval, including his involvement in the English Civil War and his efforts to reconcile different factions within the church. Lewis also delves into Hall's literary contributions, including his famous devotional work ""The Art of Divine Meditation.""
