Square Peggy is a novel written by Josephine Daskam Bacon and published in 1919. The story revolves around Peggy, a young woman who is considered ""square"" by her peers due to her old-fashioned values and beliefs. Despite being mocked and ostracized by her social circle, Peggy remains steadfast in her principles and refuses to compromise her integrity. As the plot progresses, Peggy's steadfastness and sincerity begin to win over the hearts of those around her, including her love interest, Jack. However, Peggy's resolve is tested when she is faced with a difficult decision that could potentially compromise her values. The novel explores themes of individuality, integrity, and the struggle to stay true to oneself in a society that values conformity. It is a charming and heartwarming story that offers a glimpse into the social norms and values of the early 20th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
