Salvation in Death

When a Catholic priest is brutally murdered, Eve Dallas starts investigating, as always with the help of her husband Rourke and her assistant Peabody. As it turns out, the priest was not who he seemed to be and the case soon is much larger than a single murder. Who was Father Miguel, and is she dealing with a serial killer? This was an intelligent crime story with characters I've come to like a lot. In contrast to some other volumes, I didn't feel that Eve and Rourke as people and a couple were developed further or dealt with intensely, but it's still a good book and definitely enjoyable.
