Very personal approach and experience that the author describes (couple of pages at the beginning of each chapter). Then follow the selected quotes from the holy scripts, without any correlation to each other, just smth torn out of the text. Explanation to those quotes on the opposite page is a mystery. Sometimes extremely sophisticated wording is used, that makes the reading sluggish. I didn't not expect Andrew Harvey to teach me neither history nor spirituality, but I did not enjoy this walk with him. Disappointing.
