Dr Mustafa Mughazy is Professor of Arabic at Western Michigan University, USA. He specializes in Arabic semantics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis. Dr Adam Sabra is Professor of History and King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud Chair in Islamic Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. He specializes in the history of Mamluk and Ottoman Egypt.
