Dr. Mitchell G. Ash ist ordentlicher Universitätsprofessor für Geschichte der Neuzeit an der Universität Wien. Er leitet dort die Arbeitsgruppe Wissenschaftsgeschichte und ist Sprecher des multidisziplinären Doktoratskollegs »Naturwissenschaften im historischen, philosophischen und kulturellen Kontext«.
