Whether you are rich or poor, black or white, religious or nonreligious, life is challenging. We have daily struggles, and how we deal with those struggles defines us and determines the type of people we are. Life is not meant to be dealt on our own. The Holy Spirit was given to Christians to guide, direct, educate, encourage, and help with daily struggles.

Fresh Fruit is a collection of writings that show how the Holy Spirit gives help and encouragement as we face the everyday problems of life. There are nine categories, one for each fruit. Each category has eight compositions tackling life issues.

Without recognizing the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we are not fully experiencing all that God offers us. We become spiritually healthier by manifesting the fruit of the Holy Spirit in every situation. Through this fruit, we can show who God is and hopefully bring others to salvation.

Autorenporträt
Jennifer Chamberlain retired from working in emergency management and now divides her time between writing a blog called christianyoudecide.blogspot.com, writing a book on meditations on the Lord's Prayer, and working with her husband, Pastor John in a program they created call Discovering Solutions. Discovering Solutions provides for the homeless in their area. She has a master's degree in Media Communications, spent nine years as a public-school teacher, has worked in marketing and written for a local newspaper. Jennifer has been a Christian since a young age but has faced many life challenges. In college, she sang in a Christian Women's Trio called Everlasting Light, has played piano for church, and directed several choirs. She speaks to women's groups about life's challenges and often sings solos for them and for church. "There have been times in my life when I knew I was absolutely where God wanted me to be and other times when I wondered my own way. Throughout these times God taught me what it means to be His completely," Jennifer says.
