West goes to Wonderland, East Points to Oz. South leads to Neverland. North has been sealed away. Based loosely on the Wizard of oz series, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and Peter Pan, in book three of The When Wicked Series, things have flown South. What does it mean to be Wicked or Good in a world where your darkest insecurities take physical forms, and echoes are your enemy? South of the signpost, soar through Neverland with Peter, Wendy, Alice, Dorothy, and Tip as they search for their Lost friends and discover their own inner demons lying in wait to challenge everything they know about themselves. Wendy has lost sight of her own value and purpose. Tip questions who to trust, and who to leave behind him. Dorothy faces her worst forgotten memories and spiraling madness. Alice 's own Wicked powers are cracking her from the inside out, while Peter must bear the weight of growing up and taking responsibility for everything he had run away from for so long. With redemption and life as they know it on the line, the hodgepodge allies must each decide whether to rise up against their own inner darkness, or be consumed by it along the way. A riveting continuation of painful encounters, self discovery, murderous mermaids, shattering morality, and a deadly game of hide and seek with shadows, When Wicked Runs South is the bewitching third sequel you've been dying to devour.
