Beth Wolfensberger Singer is a writer, artist, and crafter whose articles, essays, and reviews have appeared in The Boston Globe Magazine, The New York Times, Salon.com, The Utne Reader, Better Homes and Gardens, Health, and other publications. A former children's book editor and staff writer at Boston Magazine and The Boston Phoenix, she has been crocheting pretty much non-stop since the 7th grade. Her cartoons appear regularly in her blog Ambitionectomy.tumblr.com. Her new book, When Bad Things Happen to Good Crocheters, (Taunton Press) publishes in Fall of 2015.
