The main purpose of this research is to provide a clearer picture of vocabulary attrition among EFL adult Persian learners. Finally, the researcher hopes that this research will assist teachers to develop professionally through learning and consider various methods to cater for the needs of their students.

The author holds a PhD in TESL from University Putra Malaysia. She has produced substantial amount of books, research papers, conferences presentation, teaching and training modules in the field of teaching techniques, second language attrition and acquisition, L2 writing skill, vocabulary strategies learning, at national & international levels.
