To find a solution to a problem it is of paramount importance to find the root cause. This book goes on a journey through Colombia's history of violence, which will give the reader an in depth understanding of the main reasons of this violence and its effect on tourism sector. This book collates the strategies that the Colombian government is currently applying to change the image of the country, what literature reviews recommend and also what other countries in similar situations in the past have done to overcome the tourism crisis provoked by violence.
Autorenporträt
Margareth Holguín attended the Universities of Girona, Southern Denmark and Ljubljana where she was awarded her Master¿s degree in Tourism Management. She is a native Colombian, who loves to travel and learn from different cultures. The negative perception that people have about Colombia around the world has been her motivation to write this book.
