The advent of the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (post-UTMEs) into the Nigerian Education System in 2005 has been surrounded by a lot of controversies and arguments for and against both the original, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the post-UTME.
