Peace is an ultimate quest of the human being. No one wants unrest as there is no pleasure involved in it. Whatever one does, one does to derive pleasure during the process or as an output of the action. The reason for unrest lies in the existence of inequity in society. As could be easily observed in our society, a few people are too wealthy whereas the majority strive for even basic resources. Such a situation has created 'divides' or 'Centers of Power' in the society. The cure is Adherence to the principle of Trusteeship in personal, social and corporate life. Trusteeship is a concept originating from spirituality wherein one voluntarily relinquishes one's right on extra wealth earned by him/her and dedicates it to the welfare of those who are not so privileged like him/her. At corporate level, the application of the Trusteeship Principle can be found in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities which means all plans and executions of CSR practices, would need to take care of the 3 Ps - People, Planet and Profit, and hence promote sustainability. To conclude with, Trusteeship + CSR + Sustainability = Peace
