Autorenporträt
Briana Bostic is the author of this book and founder of The Black Heron Company. This creative work is inspired by her preschool experience at Wallace Elementary School, time in the classroom with "The Innovators", as well as years of research and community organizing in Chicago, St. Louis, Prince George's County (MD), and Baltimore. It has taken a great deal of love, collaboration, community, extensive notebook scribbling, replays of Outkast's "Aquemini" album, and meals made from the heart to bring this project forward. This work is dedicated to the children who are anxious to create. May they have faith, and know that they will. Engage @theblackheronco on social media or visit theblackheronco.com.
