Studying how political parties come to compete about some issues rather than others allows us to assess the role of new political parties. This book highlights the central role of the parties that have traditionally governed in West European countries.
Christoffer Green-Pedersen is Professor of Political Science at Aarhus University. He has published extensively on party competition, agenda setting, and public policy in comparative perspective. He is the founder of the Danish policy agenda project.
