Susan G. Kabelitz a native of California has been married to Bill for 43 years and they have three grown children. Joy, their eldest has one grown daughter and four children. Jinny Grace, their second daughter has been married to Marc for 11 years and they have five children. Jinny Grace also provided her group of photographs for this book of poetry. David, the youngest and only son married Anna and they have a son named Luke. For many years, Susan has volunteered at her Church, "The Breakwater" in Redondo Beach. Susan enjoys worshipping the Lord through songs and playing the piano. She currently mentors a piano student and is passionate about supporting seniors. Once a month attends Lomita care center, sings and does poetry readings with the team of volunteers from her church. Susan received an Associate of Arts degree in English from El Camino College in Torrance, California. She graduated in 2006 with honors and achieved placement on the National Dean's List. Susan finds joy in writing poetry and her works have appeared in The International Who's Who in Poetry. She has also won outstanding achievements through The National Library of Poetry in 1998, 2001 and 2003. In 2003 she traveled to Washington D.C and received an outstanding achievement trophy in poetry by the International Society of Poets. While there, Susan also had the pleasure of meeting Lucille Clifton in person. In 2005 her poem, "Eccentric Beauty and the County Fair" was published in The Myriad, the Creative Arts Journal of El Camino College. "His Words" a 365 daily devotional book was inspired because of her devotion to the Father. It is currently available as well.
