Autorenporträt
A longtime member of the Bronx County Historical Society and the East Bronx History Forum, Stephen Paul DeVillo is a lifelong Bronxite with a deep interest in the history and folklore of New York City and the lower Hudson Valley. For several years, he has developed and led the Bronx River Rambles historical walking tours and has given walks and presentations for a number of other organizations. He is the author of The Bronx River in History and Folklore and The Bowery: The Strange History of New York's Oldest Street. The Battle of White Plains is his third book.
