The computational resources are a viable alternative to reduce the costs of performing laboratory tests in the evaluation of concrete strength. The objective of this work is to use Ansys software to evaluate the strength of the concrete by the analysis of stress and displacements suffered in a three point bending test. The validation was done by comparison with results from the literature and application examples were performed. The use of numerical tools has shown as a viable tool for concrete characterization tests.
