The alignment of north-south highway and orientation of Subhimalaya also determined the rockfall nature. This book gives the five level of hazard zones within 2300 m length of Siddartha Highway categories from very low hazard, low hazard, moderate hazard, high hazard and very high hazard zones. This book also gives mitigation measures from rockfall problems for protection of people and properties.

Herr Chhabilal Pokhrel hat an der Tribhuvan-Universität in Nepal einen Master of Science erworben. Er ist Ass. Dozent am Fachbereich Trichandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan Universität und Acme Engineering College, Purbanchal Universität Kathamndu. Seine Forschungstätigkeit konzentriert sich auf die Bewertung von Erdrutsch- und Steinschlaggefahren und deren Eindämmung.
