Sometimes it focuses on isolated issues such as hunger and unemployment. At other times, it will deal with policies that address these issues, such as job training and monetary control. Thus, social justice is itself a structural question, not simply a personal matter. To this end, the study seeks further investigation in deep justice issues of sexism-unemployment, lack of educational opportunities, discriminatory pay, and lack of access to decision-making positions.

Dr. Peggy Mulambya-Kabonde has been an ordained minister in the UCZ since 1987 and is currently serving as the first female General Secretary. She has served in different portfolios as a leader at national, regional, international scene. She is an eco, gender justice activist, writer and a member of the Circle of concerned African Women Theologians.
