So, we should give more importance to use energy generated from wind, solar, hydra, waves and other energy that does not end easily or is replaced by nature. The thesis demonstrates the operation of a solar based standalone power system with battery storage capabilities. Stochastic nature of solar energy and abrupt nature of load demand requires an optimal power management technique to ensure the efficiency of the system. The reliability of the system can be predicted by its ability to maintain power balance between the system components while fulfilling the desired performance criteria.
