James E. Green is a retired university professor and administrator. He has published four chapbooks of poetry in addition to this one, with individual poems having appeared in literary journals in Ireland, the UK, and the USA. He has received numerous awards for his poetry, as well as nominations for Sundress Publications' Best of the Net and the MLA Conference on Christianity Book of the Year.
