The Nso people are so proud of their culture that they do not hesitate to showcase it at the least opportunity. This book documents the tradition in its original form, bringing to light the fact that no bride price is required. It includes ways in which the Fon, the paramount ruler, gets his wives and some surprising aspects of the ceremony. I hope that every Nso person at home and abroad, other Africans and African Americans obtain a copy for their families.
