The present work is concerned three metalloporphyrins complexes based on cadmium and vanadium metals. The first with the oxo vanadium (IV) complex of 2, 3, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18-octachloro-5, 10, 15, 20-tetrakis (4-tolylporphyrin) with the formula [V(Cl8TTP)O] (I), which was prepared by reacting the oxo [5, 10, 15, 20 tetrakis (4-tolylporphyrinato)] vanadium (IV) complex ([V(TTP)O]), under aerobic atmosphere, with a large excess of thionyl chloride (SOCl2). The title compound was characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray crystal structure. The second was a new…mehr

The second was a new Cadmium (II) Metalloporphyrin in which is reported, the Synthesis, X-ray Crystal Structure, Hirshfeld surface analysis, Photophysical and Cyclic voltammetry Characterization of the (Morpholine) {(meso-tetra (para-chloro-phenyl) porphyrinato} cadmium (II). The third is a distorted five-coordinate square pyramidal geometry of cadmium (II) complex containing 2-methylimidazole ligand: the synthesis of this compound, the crystal structure and axial ligand effect on spectroscopic properties is described.
