Born in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and mother of two sons, Ann Loring is a retired kindergarten teacher who is very passionate about two things: children and the environment. After retirement, she combined her writing expertise with paraeducator, Boni Jo's drawing skills into a series of children's environmental picture books. Ann believes that inspiring their interest and involving children in all aspects of environmental issues is the best way to ensure a better future for our planet.
