Graduado em medicina pela Faculdade de Medicina da USP, Formado em Cirurgia Plástica pelo Hospital das Clinicas da USP e membro titular da Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica. Realizou Mestrado em "modelos experimentais para estudos de quelóides" e Doutorado em "terapia a vácuo para acelerar a cicatrização".
