SIR THOMAS MALORY (c.1405-1471) was the English author of Le Morte D'Arthur , compiled from various English and French sources. The work was first printed by William Caxton in 1485. MIKE POULTON has a string of successful translations and adaptations to his name, most notably Schiller's Don Carlos (West End, 2005) and The Canterbury Tales for the RSC (Stratford, 2005).
