Two diazo ligands derived from m-phenelyenediamine, p-chlorophenol and p-aminobenzoic acid and were synthesized and characterized by different spectral, thermal and analytical tools. This piece of work has devoted with the aim to synthesize Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal complexes with the new diazo ligands and to examine their physical properties involving spectral behaviors, the electrical conductance values and to determine the efficiency of the synthesized complexes against pathogenic bacteria.
