Autorenporträt
Kristen D’Angelo is a licensed social worker, poet, musician, and photographer. She is the co-founder of Cross Breeze Charities (https://crossbreezecharities.org/) which supports healthcare, educational and religious organizations through grants to initiate therapeutic butterfly gardens. She has had a popular butterfly-themed website, online retail shop, and blog, Obsession with Butterflies (https://www.obsessionwithbutterflies.com/blog/) since 2000. Her poetry and stunning photographs of butterflies have been published by the Xerces Society and the North American Butterfly Association. She is a frequent lecturer on butterflies and butterfly gardening at the Los Angeles Arboretum, natural history museums, and garden centers throughout Southern California. She lives in Ladera Ranch, California.
