El pastor Othnel Pierre es un Adventista del Séptimo Día activo y apasionado de la tercera generación. Hijo del pastor retirado Anelus Augustin Pierre y la fallecida Jacqueline T. Pierre, obtuvo su licenciatura en teología de la Universidad Adventista de Haití, anteriormente Instituto Adventista Franco-Haitiano, y su maestría en educación con especialización en supervisión de liderazgo de la Universidad Andrews, en Michigan, Estados Unidos. Actualmente, se desempeña como pastor de dos comunidades con la Northeastern Conference dentro de la Atlantic Union Conference. A través de seminarios, talleres, semanas de oraciones, campañas evangelísticas, él, en su ministerio pastoral, inspirado por el Espíritu Santo, ha apoyado y bautizado a varios cientos de personas en los pastos del Señor. El 22 de diciembre de 1987, se casó con su encantadora esposa, Edithe Pierre, quien gentilmente ha servido como su constante compañera en la vida y de ministerio. Su unión, por la gracia y la misericordia de Dios, ha producido dos encantadoras señoritas y un apuesto joven.
