Edward Miller graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City. For more than 25 years, Edward has written and illustrated children's books, as well as worked in publishing as a graphic designer and art director. In 1996, Edward launched his design studio, Ed Miller Design. Edward currently lives in New York City. In his spare time, he designs and paints murals for New York City public schools. Lori Haskins Houran has written more than fifty children’s books, including Next to You, named a Best Picture Book of 2016 by School Library Journal; Button Your Buttons, which received a starred review from Kirkus in 2020; and the soon-to-be-released Close Your Eyes, hailed by SLJ as “a perfect bedtime work.” She’s also the author of the popular easy readers  Too Many Dogs and Too Many Cats, which together have sold more than 700,000 copies. Lori is a former Senior Editor at Random House and Editorial Director at Golden Books. She lives in Massachusetts with her family.
