Kingston upon Hull North (usually just Hull North) is a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. This constituency covers the northern part of Hull. A diverse constituency, it includes the large social housing estates of Bransholme, North Hull and Orchard Park, as well as some of the city's most desirable housing areas in the Avenues, Newland Park and Beverley High Road areas. A seat with a large student population, Hull North has the University at its centre, and many students live in the Newland Avenue and Beverley Road communities. A large new housing development in the north of the seat called Kingswood is also rapidly changing the constituency's demographic profile.
