There have been several modifications in the scope and subjects of international law as time passes by. The indispensable interactions among Nations in the world has given a course for academics and researcher to pay greater attention to the norms and regulations that govern such interactions hence the growing importance of international law in contemporary times. Sine it is obvious that Nations will continue to interact among themselves and depend on each other for resources, aid, and assistance among others, it is, therefore, important to pay a closer look at the laws that governs these interactions and it is for this purpose that this work seeks to give students whoare beginning to study international law an insight of what international law entails. This work has simplified and explicitly explained the basic concepts in international law to guide students.
