Pijush Kanti Bhattacharjee a travaillé au Département des télécommunications du gouvernement indien en tant qu'ingénieur en télécommunications de 1981 à 2007, puis comme directeur adjoint. Il a ensuite travaillé dans différentes écoles d'ingénieurs et universités en tant que professeur adjoint et professeur associé de 2007 à 2015. Il travaille maintenant comme avocat. Il a écrit cinq livres et plus de 90 articles de recherche.
