Tsegay Lijalem Mesele es de profesión productor animal con especial interés en la caracterización de las producciones ganaderas y el procesamiento de productos durante diez años en la Universidad de Wolaita sodo y la Universidad de Adigrat, Etiopía. Es titular de una licenciatura y de una cátedra de la Universidad de Mekele, Hawassa y Wolaita sodo, respectivamente.
