Katie Lorna McMillan grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated with a BA Degree in Sociology from Strathclyde University. Katie also studied Spanish so in 2004 she moved to Spain to teach English in a Spanish School. Haggis MacDougall is a fictional character that she has created and there are 3 books so far in the series. Katie currently lives in Glasgow with her husband Kevin and her three boys Hugo, Jonas and Ralph.
