Good performance in Mathematics remain a challenge for most Namibian learners. The author's area of specialization is Junior Primary teaching: Grades 1 - 3. She had been a Grade 2 teacher for many years, served as a Advisory Teacher in the Omusati Region and is currently employed as a lecturer at the University of Namibia, Faculty of Education where she teaches Numeracy and Math development to Junior Primary student teachers
