The focus of the book is on the area of agro-climatology and how these ideas expanded through climate change effects on cowpea production in Nigeria, with a particular reference to Kaduna State. Thus, the book examines introduction and background to the study. The book touches on the conceptual framework and literature review, study area, materials and methods, discussion of results, conclusion and recommendation. To make the book readable, published materials and other sources of information had to be consulted which in turn added luster and weight to the book. The author believe that the book will give students and scholars the necessary foundation in studying the subject and prepares them for further training.

Dr. Ma'aruf Murtala wurde in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria geboren und ausgebildet, wo er das Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) am Federal College of Education erwarb. Außerdem studierte er an der Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, wo er einen B.Sc. (Ed.), einen M.Sc. und einen PhD in Geographie erwarb. Er verfügt über mehr als zehn Jahre Erfahrung in Lehre und Forschung.
