A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy farm, S.K.N. Recommended dose of fertilizers for pearlmillet was 60 kg N and 20 kg P2O5/ha.the grain yield was significantly higher due to application of 6 t/ha vermicompost over control, 2 and 4 t/ha.However, in respect of dry matter accumulation per metre row length at 30 DAS, test weight, grain yield and harvest index, the treatment, 50 to 100% RDF remained almost same. The 100% fertility levels (RDF) without vermicompost was found economical fetching highest return (Rs 16532 ha-1).
