Kim Hachiya retired from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she had a long career in public relations. She also worked for NET, Nebraska’s public radio and television network, as a magazine editor and public relations specialist. She is currently a freelance writer and editor.  Craig Chandler is the director of photography at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Office of University Communication. Ted Kooser, winner of the Pulitzer Prize in poetry and former U.S. Poet Laureate, is Presidential Professor of the University of Nebraska. He is the author of thirteen books of poetry, five books of prose, including The Wheeling Year: A Poet’s Field Book (Nebraska, 2014), four children’s books, and numerous chapbooks and special editions.
